This Great House is shrouded behind a mysterious fog of speculations, and that’s exactly how the leaders of the Ordos like to keep it. Ruled by a secret syndicate of the rich and powerful, even the people on the planet don’t know who their leader is. And as long as the profits keeps flowing they don’t care. The Ordos care for only one thing: money. Money buys power in the Imperium and it has allowed this relatively small House to rise to its position of prominence.

On the other hand, you can’t buy loyalty. No other house has as high a rate of deserters. Most of their fighters are hired mercenaries, members of House Ordos prefer to stay off of the battlefield and let others assume the risk. It is suspected that many of their armies are comprised of fully or partially mechanical units, though this has proven difficult to verify.
House Ordos are known to trade in forbidden technologies, but the wealth of the Ordos and a few well-placed bribes help to convince the other Great Houses to turn a blind eye to their activities.
